Jesse, an esteemed softball instructor, holds an Elite Pitching Certification from PaulyGirl Fastpitch and stands proudly as an inductee into the prestigious WNY Softball Hall of Fame and also serves on the committee. Her journey in the softball realm began at West Seneca West, where she earned the distinguished title of Player of the Year, showcasing her exceptional skills both as a pitcher and catcher.
During the summers, Jesse was a formidable force on the field, contributing significantly to the success of the Diamond Girl program, initiated by her father, Bob Rosenhahn, in 1991. Her commitment extended to playing for the Shamrocks, a former semi-professional team. Transitioning to collegiate play at Canisius, Jesse demonstrated versatility by filling various positions, including pitching, but was primarily a catcher and left an indelible mark by earning First Team All-Region honors. In 1998, she led the MAAC in home runs, showcasing her prowess in the sport.
Jesse's illustrious career also includes representing the Empire State Team since the age of 15, accumulating an impressive tally of 4 golds, 5 silvers, and 1 bronze. In 2000, she secured the Women's Class C National Championship with Faso's Insurance, earning the well-deserved recognition of 1st Team All-American.
Beyond her playing career, Jesse has made significant contributions to the coaching landscape. She served as the Head Softball Coach at Hilbert College for three years and held coaching roles at Canisius College, ECC, and D'Youville, where her expertise in pitching was particularly impactful. Jesse also took on the role of Softball Director at New Era Park Facilities before founding her own venture, Elite Sports Training.
Currently dedicating her time to providing comprehensive lessons, Jesse is deeply invested in shaping the next generation of softball talent. Her commitment extends beyond the local scene, as she plays a pivotal role in training pitching instructors nationwide.
